Federal Girondole Looking Glass Accent Mirror by Friedman Brothers
This eye-catching Federal-style girondole has a convex mirror. It features an eagle with outspread wings. Two arms gracefully come out from the bottom design to accommodate candles. When lit, the light reflects into the mirror, giving off a larger image of the room. The original was probably made in America, circa 1800, and now hangs in the Williamsburg Inn Girandole Looking Glass Introduced in 1938 WILLIAMSBURG CWLG2
