The Bahnhaeusle, or train station clock, is a well-known classic cuckoo clock that is a replica of the original railway station clock from 1885. This cuckoo clock was designed to commemorate the Black Forest Railway Line’s workers. The railway was constructed in the 19th century through the extremely steep Black Forest, with considerable effort on the part of the workforce. To commemorate this, a clock in the style of a 19th-century train station was designed and given to the workers.
